Legislation

Urgent action needed re: Massachusetts legislation

By Courtney Fern on January 17, 2020
Share this story:

Legislation in Massachusetts to end the cruel and exploitative use of elephants, big cats, primates, bears, and giraffes in traveling acts is moving through the statehouse and is now before two powerful committees. To keep up the momentum your legislators need to hear from you!

Take Action Now:

  1. Complete this action alert to urge your State Representative and State Senator to support H.2934/S.2028.
  2. Call your State Representative and State Senator and ask them to support H.2934/S.2028, an Act relative to the use of big cats, primates, bears, and giraffes in traveling exhibits and shows. Click here to find out who your representatives are and their office phone numbers.

Thank you for taking action!

Courtney Fern is the NhRP’s Director of Government Relations and Campaigns.
