Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall is an NhRP Board Member. She has been teaching the world about the culture and lives of chimpanzees since 1960. Her pioneering work with the chimpanzees of Gombe National Park in Tanzania changed the way people view chimpanzees and, subsequently, all other animals. She is founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and Roots and Shoots, an environmental and humanitarian program for preschool through college-age students that now has over 150,000 members in more than 120 countries.
