Vanessa is a senior advisor at the NhRP working closely with the leadership team on development and strategic planning. Vanessa advocates for support of the NhRP and manages outreach and partnerships with philanthropic supporters and foundations. Previously, she was senior vice president of operations and advancement at The Climate Reality Project, the nonprofit founded by Al Gore to seek action on the climate crisis. Her background also includes senior roles at the Motion Picture Association of America, Georgetown University, the White House, and the Texas Legislature. Vanessa received a B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
