2019 Annual Report

By Kevin Schneider on December 30, 2019
Share this story:

Please see some of the year’s highlights in the fight for nonhuman rights and what we achieved together in 2019 in our first ever Annual Report.

From enlisting the support of elected officials, to making the case for nonhuman rights around the world, to winning a restraining order against the Bronx Zoo, 2019 was a year of great progress for the NhRP. However, it was not without its challenges, especially the deaths of Beulah and Karen.

Because we are challenging a legal status quo that has existed for millennia, there is still a long road ahead in our legal fight for nonhuman animals, but the NhRP does not give up on our clients or our mission. We thank compassionate, dedicated supporters like you who’ve stood by us in 2019 and ask you to join us in the new year to help us continue our battle to secure justice for nonhuman animals for as long as it takes. Please make your last gift for 2019 today.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year and in years past. We could not do any of this work without you. Happy New Year from all of us at the NhRP! Here’s to continuing to build a more just world for all in 2020.
