Legislation

Join us in supporting Bill S.2028 in Massachusetts

By Courtney Fern on October 17, 2019
Share this story:

Please join the NhRP next week at the Massachusetts State House as we advocate in support of Bill S.2028, which would prevent the use of elephants and other wild animals in circuses. On October 22nd, the Massachusetts legislature will hold a hearing on the bill and NhPR Executive Director Kevin Schneider will testify before the committee in support. Prior to the hearing, there will be a rally at the “well” in front of the State House steps (on Beacon Street). Please come and support the passage of this important piece of legislation.

Thank you!

Courtney Fern is the NhRP’s Director of Government Relations and Campaigns.
