Piper Hoffman is the NhRP’s Managing Director of Programs. Previously, she served as the Senior Director of Litigation for Animal Outlook and taught Animal Law at NYU Law School and Brooklyn Law School; she has also served as a partner at private public interest firm Outten & Golden LLP, a staff attorney at the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and a judicial clerk for Judge Gladys Kessler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Piper earned her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and her B.A. magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with honors in Political Science from Brown University.
